infinityLast night I asked the question “How can I be joyful and exuberant in the midst of crisis, uncertainty, loss or negativity?”  I shuffled my oracle cards thoroughly and  pulled the card “Leadership”.

This card is associated with the archangel Gabriel and means: “It’s time for you to assume your leadership power and position and lovingly guide others.”  Additionally, “Embrace your power in a loving way, and use it for the greater good.  I’ll guide your actions so they inspire and motivate others.  I’ll also replace any self-doubt about your qualifications with an increased desire to serve, help and teach.  When your focus is more on ‘How may I serve?,’ then you won’t worry what others may think about you.   Focus upon your strengths, the many lessons you’ve learned and how good it feels to be a living example of following one’s Divine guidance.”

Not certain what this card was telling me exactly and totally in wonderment, I went to sleep. The next day I was in a very being positive mood (the more I read the meaning of the Leadership card, the more inspired and faithful I felt!).  And off to work I went.   A while later after being at the office for a few hours, I took my usual walk to the flower district and back, pondering the previous night’s reading.  In the course of my “travels” I came across two feathers and found 2 coins, a penny and a quarter (26 cents .. reduced to the number 8, which turned on it’s side is the infinity symbol).

This I felt was remarkable, given they say finding feathers or loose change are indications that angels are around you.   I took it as being very positive validation of my current state of mind, my reading from the night before, the path I am on and the other thoughts I was having while out walking.  So much so, that when I returned to the office I printed out an infinity symbol and taped it to my computer screen as a constant reminder to stay in the moment, in the Divine’s presence.

I have been thinking about possible future events, which I want and feel will be in line with my destiny and goals to create maximum impact helping others using my skills and experience. One is to be back working with my former boss/mentor.  Professionally and personally, this would be fun, I would thrive and the impact would be greater than anything I can ever imagine.   Further in this frame of thought, I conceived of a “product name” for a business intelligence data warehouse system I would build for his new organization; it would be called P-R-I-M-E meaning Project Renewal Information & Metrics Exchange.

Second, it would give me time, 3 – 5 years or more to ease into retirement and establish a solid writing “hobby,”  not to mention release me from the toxicity I have routinely been facing in my current work environment.     I would be able get serious about this blog and other writing concepts and work on my outline for my book idea, The RFP (Request For Proposal).

And third, I would be freer to immerse myself deeper in my spiritual development.  (Actually, this is number one).

Back at the office I proceeded to have a good day and then bolted for the weekend.  Stay tuned, this is going to be amazing, as I sit here (the following morning) editing this post in my kitchen, with bright sunlight shining on me!.
